Tutoring
I have diversified skills in analysis of prehistoric pottery, including , and can recommend good illustrators and petrographers to those clients who require the service. I work with pottery dating from the early Neolithic through to the middle Iron Age, and particularly specialise in Peterborough Ware. I am, of course, able to identify sherds of other later periods and am happy to spot date and separate assemblages, forwarding components which need the attention of other specialists. I also work with prehistoric fired clay and can undertake post excavation work. Post-excavation skills include documentary research, stratigraphic analysis, project tracking and management, interpretation and analysis, editing and formatting of reports, familiarity with digital databases.
